What this policy covers

This page explains what personal data this portfolio collects, why, and how it is protected. The site does not sell, rent or share your data with third parties.

Data collected

The only personal data collected is what you choose to submit through the contact form: your name, email address, subject and message.

This information is used solely to reply to your enquiry. It is either emailed to the site owner or, if email delivery is unavailable, archived in a private, non-public server file.

The IP address of the sender is also recorded alongside a message, solely to help detect abuse and spam. It is kept only as long as the message itself and is deleted with it.

Legal basis and retention

Processing is based on your consent, given by submitting the form, and on the legitimate interest of responding to enquiries. Messages are kept only as long as needed to handle the request, and are not used for any other purpose.

Cookies and analytics

This site uses a self-hosted, anonymous page-view counter that stores no cookie and no personal identifier — only a daily count per page. It runs regardless of the cookie banner choice, since it does not process personal data.

To show which countries visitors come from, the counter briefly resolves the visitor’s IP address to a country using a third-party lookup service (ip-api.com). The IP address itself is never stored — only the resulting country is kept, aggregated by day. This can be turned off by the site owner at any time.

An optional third-party analytics tool may be enabled by the site owner in the future. If so, it will only load after you accept the cookie banner, and you can withdraw consent at any time by clearing your browser’s site data.

Restricted administrative access

Messages submitted through the contact form, along with anonymous visit statistics, are viewable through a password-protected dashboard accessible only to the site owner.

Your rights

Depending on your location, you may have the right to access, correct or delete the personal data associated with you, and to object to or restrict its processing. To exercise these rights, contact the site owner using the details on the Contact page.
